"Butterfly 01" Chattanooga, TN 2008

Taken on a date to an aquarium and butterfly enclosure.  Always nice when your dates take you somewhere they know you will enjoy.  Spent a bit too much time with the animals rather than the date (no spark anyways) but got some incredible shots there.  This is one of my favorites.

"Floating Footprints" Oceanside, CA 2008

In 2008, I had an interview in Oceanside, CA.  After the interview, I walked for hours along the beach praying and thinking about the decision.  While it was tempting to live somewhere where I could hang out on the ocean every single day, God led me somewhere else for a while.  When I looked at this picture, of course the poem Footprints was running thru my mind, but I was shocked to see my own footprints that appeared to be floating on top of the sand rather than pressed down in it.  I love this image not only for the dependence on God, but for the ability to follow Him in that time as well.

"A Walk by the Arboretum" Balboa Park, San Deigo, CA 2008

Balboa Park is one of my favorite places to visit in San Deigo.  In 08 I had an interview in Oceanside, CA and decided to drive down to San Deigo after for a day visit. Found this sweet scene of a dog walking his owner in front of the Botanical Building.

Leaves in the Creek, Frozenhead State Park, Morgan County, TN 2012

Frozenhead State Park is hidden in the mountains of East Tennessee.  It was a few miles from my house when my family lived there in the early 90s.  I would go several times a week to hike up to one of the waterfalls.  I've been taking pictures there for twenty years now and love to visit anytime I find myself up that way.  This was taken fall of 2012
