Duck Friends, Alexandria, VA 98
Photographing animals is always fun. You always encounter the unexpected, heartwarming and sometimes downright entertaining. These two ducks lived in Alexandria, VA on the Potamac River. I had seen them several times, they were always together, and I noticed something odd, but couldn't put my finger on it til I shot this photo. If you look closely, you see each duck only has one leg. When I looked closer, I found that one duck was missing a leg, while the other would pull up his leg to empathize with his friend. What a friend!
