Frozenhead State Park 1

Went to Frozenhead State Park this past week. So much for not hiking by myself, the mountains were calling! Here are the first group of photos. I'm quite pleased with them. Practiced HDR photography in camera. A tripod is critical. Almost each time I didn't use it, I lost the HDR shot, especially shooting the slow shutter speeds for the water.

Castle Tower

I went to Disneyworld over the weekend and captured a few pictures of the castle. Here is the first, with three different edits. Love the idea of these in a nursery or kids bedroom.

Another image I took from St Augustines Mantanzas River of El Galeón at Sunrise.  I was told the other day that this ship is used in the tv show Blackbeard.

Putting together a few little collections.  The above is a 'rustic' collection shot at my grandmothers. Old Nails in the barn, two pics of an old lantern in the smokehouse, and a lock to the fruit cellar. Lo-fi filter on instagram.

Pink Fog

The other day it was really foggy all day. At sunset, the sky turned this amazing pink color. It was beautiful!  Reminded me of when Vegas would get overcast and the lights would reflect pink on the clouds, a mesmerizing site few but the locals notice because visitors never really look up while there. This was all over though. I grabbed the camera and took it outside, below are the pics.

From the driveway looking at the neighbors.  You can even see the pink reflecting on the water on the street.

The lake across the street (sad to say I had never actually walked back there til then, you have to walk thru the neighbors yard to get there, I figured the picture was worth a little trespassing)

And a few more, edited with a little more yellow to look as lovely as possible.  These are in my store now.

St Augustine Matanzas Bay

El Galeón

I went to St. Augustine a few days ago for a shoot and captured a beautiful sunrise at Matanzas Bay from the Bridge of Lions. St. Augustine is America's oldest city.  The large ship on the left is El Galeón, an authentic replica of a ship that traveled the Florida coasts 500 years ago. You can tour the ship now thru February.
